Sacha Feliciano triumphs anew
MANILA—Young karting sensation Sacha Feliciano, riding the momentum of an earlier big victory, emerged triumphant again, this time at the recent Petron Karting Series.
The smiling 17-year-old Beacon Academy student started slow against the challenge of veterans Bobby Domingo and Andres Calma and had to fight her way from 10th place at the start of the final race.
But Feliciano buckled down to work and negotiated her way past one kart after the other until she crept up behind Jaz Monzones and Calma, who were battling for the lead.

“Although I wasn’t able to score maximum points because of my accident in the prefinal, winning the final after starting from 10th place is still a fulfilling experience,” said Feliciano.
She is currently in second place, six points behind her leading rival Basti Escalante (323 points) in the Novice Division of the Yamaha Cup.
