MANILA, Philippines—Jose Rizal University completed a fourth straight NCAA championship run with plenty to spare at the close of the athletics competition on Saturday at the La Salle-Dasmariñas oval.

The Bombers got a huge boost of their record-breaking performances in the 4×100-meter and 4×400-meter relay competition as they hauled a total of 965 points in three-days.

It was a runaway victory for JRU, which got early medals from long jump, as season MVP Domingo Cabradilla led the way this time. Cabradilla is long-jump specialist.

San Sebastian was at far second with 483 points while University of Perpetual Help, which collected 388 points, placed third.

“I’m happy with the performance of our student-athletes. Their hardwork and sacrifices paid off,” said JRU athletic director Paul Supan.
