MANILA, Philippines — After settling for a scoreless draw nearly a month ago, the Philippines and Malaysia are set for another clash at the pitch next month.
The Azkals held Malaysia to a nil-nil scoreline in Thomas Dooley’s first test as new coach last March 1 at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium in Malaysia.
And both the Filipinos and Malaysians have something to prove when they go at it anew on April 27 at the Cebu City Sports Complex in Cebu as announced on the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) website.
The Philippines is also scheduled to play friendlies against Nepal on April 11 and Al Ahli Sports Club on April 14 both to be played in Doha, Qatar as part of the Azkals’ preparations for the coming AFC Challenge Cup in May.
