Petron Blaze Karting at Carmona

MANILA, Philippines — The country’s finest young drivers dispute the titles at stake Sunday in the second leg of the 2014 Petron Blaze 100 KF Karting Super Series at Carmona Racetrack.

The battle for the KF Junior Blaze 100 crown is expected to get tougher with ART Grand Prix junior driver Gabriel Tayao-Cabrera and rising star Jacob Ang of Eagle Cement gunning for solo leadership in the event sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines and sponsored by Petron, Petron Blaze 100 Euro 4, Petron XCS, Petron Ultron, Petron Xtra, Petron Sprint and Yokohama.

Ang, who ruled Round 1, holds a total of 59 points and a sweep could wrest the top spot from Cabrera who enjoys a six-point lead with 65 points.
