Caidic backs Accel Quantum

MANILA, Philippines — Long after his retirement from the PBA, Allan Caidic could still shoot those hoops like he did in his heyday.

The Triggerman, who last wore a PBA jersey 15 years ago, could even put to shame active players as far as accuracy in knocking down threes is concerned.

“My shooting touch is still there. Though I’m not as quick as before, proper nutrition and keeping myself fit everyday have made me feel I’m still on top of my game,” said Caidic, who had an all-time PBA best of 17 threes in a game and the most three-point field goals in a career (1,242 triples).

The 50-year-old assistant coach of the Barangay Ginebra Kings also credits the set of Accel Quantum Plus apparel that he wears whenever he steps on the court.

Caidic, the 1990 PBA MVP,  said Accel Quantum Plus is an innovation that makes him feel comfortable and steady despite the harsh conditions in an intense game.
