Pinoy Pride 8: Mexican pugs vs ALA stars

MANILA—Two tough Mexicans are coming over to fight in the under card of the Pinoy Pride Series 8: Philippines vs Mexico’ set Saturday at the Grand Pacific Ballroom of the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu.
Rosbel Montoya and Gerson Guerrero are set to face rising ALA Promotions prospects Jason Pagara and Genesis Azukal Servania, respectively, in the fight card highlighting the ring rivalry between the Philippines and Mexico.
Headlining the ring extravaganza co-promoted by ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN is flyweight Milan Melindo, who faces three-time world title challenger Francisco Rosas.
Unbeaten in 24 fights, Melindo’s victims include former world titlists Muhammad Rachman and Carlos Tamara.
ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer believes Melindo has the edge over Rosas.
