Lisita vows all-action duel with Kawanago in OneFC

MANILA, Philippines — Australian contender Rob “Ruthless” Lisita has promised an all-action fight against former Legend FC featherweight king Yusuke Kawanago in ONE Fighting Championship’s Rise of Heroes on May 2 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

“Fans can expect ruthless aggression, a dog fight, a good scrap,” said Lisita who is seeking revenge against the same fighter who beat him by a close decision in August 2012 under another mixed martial art group.

Lisita believes he won that fight and he went on to win his next three fights, including one against Japanese MMA legend “Lion” Takeshi Inoue, by stoppage.

He said fans will enjoy his fight with Kawanago more this time: “We have both improved, we are going to trade punches. It’s going to be a great fight.”
