Lady Falcons make quick work of Lady Cobras
MANILA, Philippines — Adamson made short work of Cebu-based Southwestern University, 25-12, 25-14, 25-16, Thursday for a second straight win in the 11th Shakey’s V-League First Conference at the Arena in San Juan.
A total team effort lifted the Lady Falcons with Mylene Paat leading with 10 points, guest player Pacharee Sangmuang adding nine, and Jessica Galanza and skipper Marleen Cortel chipping eight apiece.
The victory gave Adamson six points, which was good for second place in group A of the preliminary round.

The Lady Cobras, just simply lacking the firepower, reeled to their third-straight defeat since winning their opening match in the competition.
Marlyn Llagoso finished with a team-best six points, Sheila Bongo added five while the rest combined for 11 points.
