MANILA, Philippines — Philab came through with a 6-2 win over Rizal Technological in the playoffs Tuesday to nail the last semifinal slot in the PSC Commissioners’ Cup at Rizal Memorial ballpark.
The win put Philab in a crossover semifinal duel with top Group 2 team Philippine Air Force (6-0) which advanced outright after sweeping the eliminations.
Top Group 1 team Ateneo will face University of Santo Tomas in the other semifinal slated Thursday.
