TRECE Martirez, Cavite— Standing out on a truly demanding day, Raymart Tolentino carved out a three-over-par 75 to zoom to a four-stroke lead over Park Min-ung of South Korea going into the final two rounds of the Philippine Junior Amateur Championship here.

Tolentino gunned down four birdies that went with five bogeys and a double on the par-3 11th for a 148 aggregate in the event presented by the MVP Sports Foundation at Sherwood Hills.

“It was really tough out there today,” said Tolentino, a 16-year-old playing out of the Camp Aguinaldo program who is chasing his first national title.
