Free live-viewing of Pacquiao fight in 7 places in Manila
MANILA, Philippines—Seven venues in the city of Manila will provide free live viewing of Filipino champ Manny Pacquiao’s fight against American boxer Timothy Bradley on Sunday.
A big screen and satellite dish have been prepared at the San Andres Complex on San Andres Street where Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada is expected to watch the rematch between the two boxers.
Gary Cagambang, officer in charge of the San Andres Complex, said that the venue can accommodate more than 10,000 people. The city government had earlier released tickets for the fight through barangay officials.
Article continues after this advertisementThe city announced that free viewing will also be offered to the public at the Dapitan Sports Complex, the Delpan Sports Complex at the Port Area, the Tondo Sports Complex, the Patricia Sports Complex (also in Tondo), the Rasac Covered Court on Rizal Avenue in Sta. Cruz, and the Sarmiento Covered Court in Sta. Mesa.
