Bradley trainer Joel Diaz a Pacquiao fan ‘all my life’
He’s just pumping himself up and doesn’t mean to disrespect Manny Pacquiao.
If he really means to antagonize Pacquiao, his trainer, Joel Diaz won’t allow it. That’s because Diaz is an ardent Pacquiao fan.
“My fighter won’t disrespect Manny,” said Diaz. “I love Manny. I’m a fan of Manny all my life. This is business and we have to do what we have to do.”
Article continues after this advertisementBradley promised to knock out Pacquiao and send him into retirement Saturday night. But on Friday, he’ll have to listen to his coach’s final instructions.
“We’ll just take a walk, eat with his family and relax,” said Diaz, agreeing with Bradley’s decision to go light when he battles Pacquiao for the title Saturday.
“He just wants to feel good and feel light and fast,” said Diaz regarding Bradley’s 145.5-lb weight.
