MANILA, Philippines — Jackie Tan-Ho crushed Lourdes Pe, 6-0, 6-1, over the weekend to rule the 14-under girls singles title of the Cebuana Lhuillier national age-group tennis tournament at BF resort club.
The 13-year-old Tan-Ho, sister of age-group stalwart Jasmine, barreled her way to the finals beating her more experienced foes.
Tan-Ho, who emerged from the age-group ranks with her skill and flair, also made the semis of the Andrada Cup championships early this year.
Now she is one of the country’s young talents to watch.
