PSC sets Blu Girls US training
MANILA, Philippines — The Amateur Softball Association-Philippines and the Philippine Sports Commission totally revamped the Blu Girls and will send the team to a three-month training and competition in the United States.
PSC commissioner Jolly Gomez Wednesday said they picked the final lineup from a 40-player pool.
“Fitness is very important, when you go abroad you will see that softball has become very very different from what it once was,” said Gomez.
He added four Fil-Ams will suit up for the Blu Girls once they fly to Oklahoma, the home of USA Softball, in June.
