MANILA, Philippines—Even the most ardent hater would succumb to the Manny Pacquiao’s brand of charisma.
Stare-downs or awkward silence might be the least to expect when Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and diehard Floyd Mayweather Jr. supporter Justin Bieber collide, but it was the Filipino’s star that shone brighter.
And it looked like the Biebs’ mockery of the Pacman could have been thrown away when the pop star posed with a photograph with the eight-division World champion at upscale fashion retailer Nordstrom.
According to TMZ, Pacquiao was on a $20,000 shopping spree at the posh outlet with a 50-people crew telling his posse to grab whatever they want.
TMZ reported that after the splurge, the group went to a nearby Apple Store where the two stars met and, supposedly managed to stay calm to avoid a supernova.
Bieber posed with the Pacquiao, and the World Boxing Organization Welterweight Champion gamely returned the favor, probably forgiving the youngster of his unfortunate memes.
