Batang PBA: Taguig, Antipolo dispute title
MANILA, Philippines — Undefeated Taguig-PBA Stalwarts and Antipolo-San Mig Super Coffee booked finals appearances in the 2014 Gatorade Batang PBA Summer League following contrasting semifinal victories Monday at the San Juan gym.
The Antipolo Mixers downed Caloocan PBA Greats, 52-40, after breaking away from a tight first half, while Taguig rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit to edge Kabaka-Manila San Miguel Beer, 45-42, to complete a 5-0 sweep of Group B.
Gametime is 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at JSCGO gym in Cubao after the 8 a.m. battle for third place between Kabaka-Manila and Caloocan.
