OneFC: Julaton shows skills in open workout
MANILA, Philippines — Boxer Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton packs the speed and power that could knock out any opponent that crosses her path.
In Tuesday’s open workout however, Julaton also flaunted imposing grappling skills.
These are the weapons the former women’s WBO super bantamweight and IBA super bantamweight world champion will use against Egyptian kickboxing queen Aya Saeid Saber in the One Fighting Championship: Rise of Heroes on May 2 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Julaton will fight in the undercard of the bantamweight titular duel between reigning champion Bibiano Fernandes of Brazil and former Shooto champion and OneFC grand prix winner Masakatsu Ueda of Japan.
NBA player Ronny Turiaf of the Minnesota Timberwolves arrived Tuesday to join Julaton’s corner. Julaton said Turiaf has been a close friend since the start of her 10-year boxing career.
