MANILA, Philippines — Hoping to make the most out of its chances, Adamson shoots for the last Final Four berth against early qualifier University of Santo Tomas today in the Shakey’s V-League Season 11 First Conference at Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

The Lady Falcons are the underdogs in the Group 1 match at 4 p.m. against the Tigresses, who are gunning for their sixth straight win.

Defending champion National University—already in the semifinals along with UST and Far Eastern University—clashes with ousted St. Benilde in Group 2 at 2 p.m.

A loss by the Lady Falcons, however, will result in a three-way tie among Adamson, Ateneo and Davao at 1-2 and lead to a stepladder battle for the last Final Four berth.

Adamson coach Sherwin Meneses wants his Lady Falcons to take a page from their surprise trampling of the Agilas, 25-15, 25-23, 25-15, last Tuesday.

A setback in that game would have bundled out the Lady Falcons and sent the favored Agilas to the semifinals, but Pineda and Thai reinforcement Pacharee Sangmuang took charge with a combined 27 points to keep Adamson alive.
