Bahadoran returns to active duty

MANILA, Philippines — Injured football star Misagh Bahadoran has recovered and young tennis sensation Marian Capadocia is ready for all major competitions this year.

Bahadoran, a member of the Philippine Azkals, was diagnosed to have a medial collateral ligament (MCL) tear a few months ago.  But he was able to come back to active playing status, thanks in part to sports doctor Edgar Michael Eufemio.

“Every time I have any injury, I go to Dr. Eufemio. I had an MCL injury and was expected to be sidelined for two months but I was able to return to training in just three weeks,” said the 27-year-old Global FC mainstay.

“I’m really so thankful to Dr. Gar for helping me recover from my injuries,” said Capadocia.

Both athletes, together with DJ Gino Quillamor of Monster Radio RX 93.1 and singer Stephanie Dan, expressed all-out support for Peak Form, the country’s first sports recovery center.
