MANILA, Philippines — Thirty drivers will do battle in the 2014 Vios Cup which kicks off Saturday at Clark International Speedway.
Participants have been training the past weeks in preparation for their quest to become the champion using a one-make Toyota Vios 1.5G M/T. Of the 30 drivers, 10 will come from the media and entertainment industry.
Aside from the actual race, there will be a concert, games for spectators, and an exhibition from Japanese drift king Keiichi Tsuchiya.
Among the participants are Andres Calma, Basti Escalante, Bryan Co, Carlos Castañeda, Carlos Loinaz, Charlie Cojuangco, Ferdi Santos, Iñaki Araneta, Jason Choachuy, Jeje Villena, Juan Nolasco, Kyle Reyes, Luis Gono, Romy Maristela, Paul Ang, Pauland Dumlao, Robert Liles, Dominic Ochoa and Allay Uy.
