“I told you that LA is going to find his rhythm. He wasn’t playing bad the first two three games, he was initiating, getting guys into their spots and helping me out being a floor leader and organizing. His numbers weren’t there but he was playing well for me,” Cariaso said of his chief playmaker.

The Kings broke open what was once a close game as they ended the third period on a 10-0 run before sustaining their hot form to start the final frame on a 12-0 surge for an 80-51 lead.

Ginebra’s gap ballooned to 22, 73-51, at the 10:59 mark of the fourth quarter before it reached the 30-point plateau, 83-53, on a left corner triple by Chris Ellis with 7:40 remaining.
The Kings made just 21 percent of their shots from the field in the first half before coming out firing in the third quarter–knocking down 13-of-19 from the floor to outscore the Energy, 35-18.
Eric Wise notched 16 points and 16 rebounds for the skidding Energy, losers of five straight games and are now at the bottom of the standings with a 1-5 card.
