Former La Salle-Zobel guard Subido stars in Nike All-Asia camp
MANILA, Philippines — Former De La Salle-Zobel star Renzo Subido earned a spot in the Mythical Five of the 2014 Nike All-Asia Basketball Camp in Guangzhou, China.
Subido, who has been reported to have transferred to University of Santo Tomas, was among the few who stood out from the 60 participants.
Subido and De La Salle Green Archers guard Kib Montalbo were the only Filipinos in the camp attended by more than 60 other participants from all over the continent.
NBA stars Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans and Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers were present at the camp as both led drills for the young players.
