The star-studded Philippine Army battles Philippine Air Force at 2 p.m., while fancied new team PLDT Home Telpad and Ateneo tangle in the second game at 4 p.m.

Despite debuting minus some of their core players, the PLDT Power Attackers ripped University of the Philippines in straight sets, 25-15, 25-21, 25-21, last Thursday.

San Sebastian standout Gretchel Soltones carried the load for the Power Attackers by drilling in 16 points with former league MVP Suzzanne Roces also shining with 15.
