Big Pasay derby pits Metro versus Batangas cockers

MANILA, Philippines — One-on-one showdowns pitting top cockers from Metro Manila and their Batangas counterparts fires off this Friday in the Palito and Rey 4-Cock Derby at Pasay City Cockpit.

The competition, supported by Sagupaan Complexor 3000, will be hosted by the Batangas group of Tony Lasala.

Entries must be submitted no later than 9 p.m. tomorrow.

Last Monday at the same venue, four entries—“DRT Naujan Col Dec. 13”, “Danny Boy,” “Emmet” and “Rabatitat Pasay July 25”—topped the PCC 28th Anniversary 6-Cock Derby.

Meanwhile, screening of stags for the annual Pasay Big Event 8-Stag Derby on Aug. 25 and 29 starts on Aug. 1 at the PCC compound.
