MANILA, Philippines-It’s official, Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao could put on new kicks for the parquet floor instead of the squared ring.

Pacquaio, the eight-division world boxing champion, has officially entered the rookie draft of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Friday afternoon.

Kia Team Manager Eric Pineda and Joe Ramos submitted Pacquiao’s eligibility papers to the PBA office in Eastwood just before the dispersal draft for Kia and Blackwater Sports.

“We wish him luck, as he previously committed, he will go through the normal procedure to get to the PBA,” Commissioner Chito Salud said at the Tito Chef in Microtel Eastwood during the press conference for the draft.

Pacquiao is also the head coach of the Kia franchise in the PBA.
