Archer is Youth Games flag-bearer
Archer Gabby Moreno was named flag-bearer for Team Philippines in the Youth Olympic Games slated Aug. 16 to 28 in Nanjing, China.
The 15-year-old Moreno, a standout from the Palarong Pambansa, Batang Pinoy and Philippine National Games, and fellow archer Bianca Roxas-Chua Gotuaco are among the leading PH bets in the quadrennial meet.
They made it outright after topping the Chinese Taipei qualifier last year. They are currently in Korea for their final tuneup before the YOG.

“We are deeply honored that my son has been chosen as flag bearer,” said Moreno’s father Federico, also the president of the Philippine Archers’ National Network and Alliance.
