Not this time for spoiled Pacmom

HE SHOWERED her with multi-carat diamonds and expensive leather goods like Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Prada. He built her a house—a mansion by Gen. Santos standards, and when she grew tired of it, he built her another one with more impressive specs.

Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao gave his mom, Dionesia, whatever she needed and wanted because he wanted his mother to have a taste of what she never had before, when the family was still poverty-stricken.

However, there seems to be one thing the Pacman could not give his spoiled Pacmom: His consent for her to get married to a man more than two decades her junior—25 years according to unconfirmed reports.

Although Mommy D had gotten her younger son Bobby’s nod to the projected May-December union, she could not get Manny’s blessing.

“Ayaw ni Manny sa kanya (Manny doesn’t like him),” Mommy D disclosed on national television three days ago.

“Pero gusto ko (but I like him.),” Mommy D’s tone sounded like she would not allow anyone to get in the way of what she wants to do, even if it happens to be her son Manny, her most generous and benevolent benefactor.

Mommy D related that she and boyfriend Michael fell in love six months ago. He was her escort during her 65th birthday—the dashing gentleman dressed in a black business suit which she paraded to friends and other guests. A media friend who covered the event described the man fondly called “sweetheart” by Mommy D as “Ma-porma and hindi mo masasabing pangit (not bad looking).”

Ironically, it was Manny who spilled the beans on his mother’s lovelife when he was interviewed on television about his next fight. It appears that this time, it is Manny who has been counseling her about the birds and the bees.

Mommy D said Michael plans to leave for abroad to work.

“Michael said it is the man’s role to provide for his family. Sa lalaki yan eh.” Mommy D didn’t say though, if she would be by Michael’s side abroad.

Understandably, most people would be taking the side of the eight-division world champion who is against this liaison. But that’s because they have not read the book written by British occultist Dion Fortune 80 years ago.

The book is entitled “Practical Occultism in Daily Life” and if you read  the chapters on etheric magnetism, you will learn that the male species continually sheds off vital energy while the female receives it.

Explained briefly, in a union such as that of Mommy D and Michael, the former, who is much older, will be the recipient of the latter’s life force which he sheds or which she subconsciously siphons from him. Because of this give and take, it comes to a point where the couple get to look the same age. Ms. Fortune said it is always the female that draws energy from the male, never the other way around.

That’s why there’s a succubus and an incubus. Money is such a small price to pay for a continuous ration of this vital life force.

Mommy D ended the television interview with an avowal of “I love you sweetheart, Mwah! Mwah! Chup! Chup!”

If Michael was within radar scope while that was being said, he could have weakened while she would have suddenly felt an inexplicable surge of etheric energy.
