Lady Eagles’ Shakey’s V-L semis hopes alive

The Lady Eagles kept their semifinal hopes alive with a come-from-behind 17-25, 25-23, 27-25, 25-19 victory over the Cagayan Valley Rising Suns Sunday night in the Shakey’s V-League Season 11 First Conference at Filoil Flying V Arena.
With leading scorer Alyssa Valdez getting ample support, the Lady Eagles sustained their amazing run in the quarterfinals, where they have won all of their three matches so far.

The Lady Rising Suns absorbed their second straight loss and fell to a 6-3. From a contender for the No. 1 spot at the end of the quarterfinals, the defending champions now look vulnerable.
