MANILA, Philippines — Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes on Wednesday revealed the Philippine team roster for the 2014 Asian Games.

Naturalized Filipino Andray Blatche heads the 12-man lineup composed of Fiba Asia’s best point guard Jayson Castro, LA Tenorio, Gary David, Fiba Asia Cup hero Paul Lee, Gilas pool addition Jared Dillinger and national team mainstays Jeff Chan, Gabe Norwood, Marc Pingris, Ranidel de Ocampo, Japeth Aguilar and June Mar Fajardo.

“2014 ASIAN GAMES roster: Jayson, LA, Gary, Paul, Jeff, JD, Gabe, Ranidel, Marc Japeth, Junmar, Andray. #LabanPilipinasPUSO,” Reyes posted on his Twitter account.

Reyes and the rest of the Philippine team are now in Vitoria, Spain as the country’s preparations for the 2014 Fiba World Cup kicks into high gear.
The Nationals’ Asiad stint is on September 19 at Incheon, South Korea not long after the World Cup, set on August 30, wraps up.

The Filipinos are in Group B and will face Argentina, Greece, Puerto Rico, Senegal and Croatia in the preliminary round of the World Cup.
