Far Eastern University didn’t get to play the way it wanted  yet carved out a 71-62 triumph over winless Adamson yesterday for a share of second place in the UAAP men’s basketball tournament at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Mike Tolomia fired 21 points for the Tamaraws, who surprisingly allowed the Falcons to pull within striking distance late in the second half.
