Superal Southern Ladies fave
PRINCESS Superal will try to add another feather in her cap starting Wednesday when the NGAP’s Southern Ladies Open presented by the MVP Sports Foundation tees off at the difficult Apo Golf in Davao.
Just over two weeks after being crowned as the US Junior Girls champion, Superal will try to win the prestigious event for the third straight year against a lean but crack field that includes her teammates from The Country Club.
The 54-hole event, part of the PLDT Group Amateur Tour, will be Superal’s first tournament since winning the US Girls in the 37th hole over Mexican national champion Marijosse Navarro in Arizona.

Abegail Arevalo and Pauleen del Rosario will also be seeing action together with TCC teammates Sam Martinez, Sofia Chabon and Fil-Japanese Yuka Saso.
Harmie Constantino and Junia Gabasa also loom as threats to Superal’s aspirations, both being seasoned veterans.
