FEU took a commanding 24-7 lead at the end of the first quarter and UST never recovered.

Cameroonian import Karim Abdul and Louie Vigil carried much the offensive load for the struggling Growling Tigers, who dropped to 4-5, with 24 and 17 points, respectively.

Starting forward Kevin Ferrer, who starred for the Tigers during the two-point win over the Tams, missed the game due to an injured left wrist. He sat on the bench in street clothes with a sling over his left shoulder.
