Gilas PH-Croatia game ‘live’ on TV5 today
THE PHILIPPINES returns to the world’s biggest basketball stage today when it battles Croatia in the 2014 Fiba World Cup in Spain.
The much-awaited hardcourt action will be telecast “live” by TV5 at 6:30 p.m. (Manila time).
The free-television coverage of Succeeding Gilas Pilipinas games in the tournament will also be telecast as it happens in Seville.
Article continues after this advertisementGilas battles Greece on Sept. 1 at 2 a.m., Argentina on the same day at 11:30 p.m., Puerto Rico on Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m., and Senegal on Sept. 4 at 8 p.m.
TV5 will begin coverage 30 minutes before each game’s tip-off with Magoo Marjoon and Quinito Henson providing play-by-play and commentaries.
As an added bonus for Kapatid viewers, TV5 will also air select games of Spain live, as well as the replay of the games of the United States.
