6 Gilas Pilipinas members back in PH

MANILA, Philippines – Some members of the Gilas Pilipinas basketball team arrived in the country on Saturday afternoon, a radio report said.

Junemar Fajardo, Jeffrei Chan, Paul Lee, Jason Castro, Gary David, Ranidel de Ocampo arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) past 5:00 p.m., the report said.

They came from Seville, Spain where they participated and made history at the FIBA World Cup when they won against Senegal, the first time the country claimed a victory after 40 years.
