Pacquiao returns to Gen. Santos City

Eight-Division world champion Manny Pacquiao arrived in Manila early yesterday morning from Los Angeles and immediately took a connecting flight to Gen. Santos City.  In a television interview, Pacquiao said he’s going to start  physical conditioning next week in preparation for the heavy training to be supervised by Hall of Famer Freddie Roach, who will arrive on Oct. 6.  Pacquiao and unbeaten American Chris Algieri, who’s eyeing his World Boxing Organization welterweight crown on Nov. 23 at The Venetian Macao, underwent a  12-day promotional tour.
