THE UNFORGETTABLE campaign of the Ateneo Lady Eagles, the UAAP women’s volleyball champion last season, has been retold in a 410-page, commemorative book “Heart Strong: The Flight of the Ateneo Lady Eagles” (right).
In stunning pictures and buoyant text, the book retraces the early years of Ateneo volleyball to the rebuilding of the sport’s program, and finally to the Lady Eagles’ first-ever UAAP crown.
The book also features up-close and personal profiles of the players and the coaching staff. Included are special trivia notes and pictures from the players’ personal collections.
