UNIVERSITY of the Philippines nipped La Salle on Thursday to capture the UAAP Season 77 poomsae crown of the taekwondo competitions at Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
The Lady Maroons actually tied the Lady Archers in the final medal tally with two gold, one silver and one bronze medals but the Diliman-based jins took the gold by virtue of a higher point quotient with 0.13.
