IBARAKI PREFECTURE, Japan—Juvic Pagunsan eagled the 14th hole to salvage a 1-over-par 72 and stay in contention after two rounds of the 150 million yen (about US$1.5 million) Asia-Pacific Open Golf Championship Diamond Cup on Friday. Pagunsan had a total of 141 at Ohtone Country Club, just four strokes off Adam Bland of Australia, who had a 68 for 137. Angelo Que, the other Filipino in the field, fired a 70 for 142. Bland was a shot clear of Thailand’s Prayad Marksaeng and Korea’s S.K. Ho. Asian Tour News
