MANILA, Philippines – The Far Eastern University Tamaraws dethroned the La Salle Green Archers, 67-64, and earned the right to face the National University Bulldogs in the Finals of the UAAP 77 men’s basketball tournament Wednesday.

Mac Belo sank the buzzer-beating three-pointer before a stunned La Salle crowd.

The Tamaraws will face the Bulldogs in a best of three at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, October 4.

Earlier on Wednesday, the fourth seed Bulldogs defeated the top seed Blue Eagles in another cliffhanger, 65-63, to barge into the Finals after 44 years.
