HOLY Family Academy stunned fancied Holy Angel University, 25-21, 25-18, 25-12, to top the Central and Northern Luzon legs of the Shakey’s Girls’ Volleyball League at AUF Sta. Barbara Campus gym in Angeles City recently.
The HFA spikers thus advanced to the Shakey’s Volleyball League of Champions (formerly the Tournament of Champions) early next year.
Republic Central Colleges took third place in the event organized by Metro Sports and backed by Mikasa, Asics, Sun Cellular and Cebu Daily News.
HFA will join the other regional champions and teams from New Zealand, Australia, US and Bangladesh, said Metro Sports’ Johanz Buenvenida.
