4 out-of-town games in Philippine Cup
SEOUL, South Korea—Four out-of-town games have been scheduled in the elimination round of the PBA Philippine Cup with defending champion San Mig Coffee facing Barako Bull in Dipolog on Dec. 6.
Rain or Shine and Meralco clash in Davao on Nov. 15 and Cagayan de Oro will host the Alaska-Globalport match on Dec. 19.
The first out-of-town match is slated in Oct. 25 in Lucena with KIA and coach Manny Pacquiao slugging it out with the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings.
The Philippine Cup will be a single-round elimination with the top two teams to earn automatic berths to the Final Four.
Only two teams will get the boot with the third- to 10th-ranked squads advancing to the quarterfinals.
