Briones eyes ‘three-peat’

Spartans Gamefarm Grego of Rey Briones & Greg Gorospe goes for a three-peat when the 3rd leg 6-Stag Derby of the Ultimate Fighting Cock Championships Red Group unfolds at Pasay Cockpit tomorrow.

Spartans Grego is the entry to watch after a co-championship finish during the UFCC Blue 2nd Leg event last Sept. 26 at Pasay Cockpit and a solo victory in the UFCC Red 2nd 6-Stag Derby last Sept. 29 at Big Dome, both backed by Thunderbird Platinum, Thunderbird Bexan XP, Resorts World – Manila, and Solaire Resorts & Casino.

The winners of the UFCC Blue 2nd Leg are favorites and they are co-champions Spartans Greco Cup Nov. 13 Sta. Monica of Rey Briones, E.P. Roosterville 7-Stag Nov. 28 Pasay of Gov. Eddie Bong Plaza, Sr. Pedro/JM Fantastic GRB of Cong. Peter Unabia.
