Walters ready for Donaire

UNDEFEATED champion Nicholas Walters is all set for the “biggest fight of his career.”

Walters’ manager Jacques Deschamps told the Jamaican Gleaner Saturday that his ward was just wrapping up his training camp in Panama ahead of his WBA featherweight championship fight with four-division champ Nonito Donaire Jr.

Deschamps said that Walters is within 126 lb just days before the Oct. 18 clash at Stubhub Center in Carson, California. They fight in the former Home Depot Center.

“He does up to 12 rounds of sparring some days. He is ready for this, the biggest fight of his career,” Deschamps was quoted as saying. Marc Anthony Reyes
