Jopson, Basa do well in triathlons
VETERAN Joyette Jopson and celebrity first-timer Victor Basa turned in respectable finishes in their respective triathlon events recently, both drawing boost from Rudy Project gears that have become sought-after partners for triathletes here and abroad.
Jopson conquered a crack international field as she topped the 180-kilometer bike event of the Ironman Langkawi, Malaysia, and emerged the top Filipino finisher in the stage.
“The course was challenging but it was so much fun. The race organization was topnotch and I had a blast with the more than 120 Pinoys on race day,” said Jopson.” Spectators said they were easily able to spot me from afar with my neon pink Rudy Project Wingspan helmet.”
Basa, on the other hand, made a good account of himself in the Safeguard Active 5i50 Triathlon in Panglao, Bohol. For details, visit www.rudyproject.com.ph.
