CEBU CITY—Lois Kaye Go fired a one-over-par 73 worth 53 points yesterday and Mary Kim Hong backed her up with an eagle-aided 52 as Cebu Country Club zoomed to a seven-point lead over three-time defending champion Manila Southwoods-Masters in the PAL Ladies Interclub championship at the up-and-down Alta Vista course here.

Go, whose brother LJ is the reigning national men’s champion, mixed four birdies with two bogeys and a pick-up on No. 10 to lead Cebu CC going into tomorrow’s final round of this event serving as the country’s unofficial ladies team golf championship.

Hong, younger sister of ICTSI pro tour multiple leg winner Charles, holed out with a 7-iron from 135 yards for an eagle 2 on No. 9 to highlight her superb back-up job to Go.
