PH Open bowling rolls off

THE 43RD Philippine National Open Tenpin Bowling Championships organized by the Philippine Bowling Congress commenced yesterday at  Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall Bowling Center in Cainta, Rizal.

A total of 19 five-man teams from affiliated local bowling associations of PBC played at the opening day of the tournament which was graced by Cainta Mayor Johniel Keith Nieto.

PBC president Ronnie Mendoza said the annual kegfest is intended to discover new talents who would soon take the place of the aging members of the PH national pool.

PBC chair of the board Nitoy Tamayo was also present.   Tournament committee chair Jaime Dychauco declared the kegfest open.
