M-Builders, Tanduay in tug-of-war over Belo
Two PBA D-League teams remain in a tug-of-war over Far Eastern University star Mac Belo.
Belo, who powered the Tamaraws to the UAAP Finals this season, has been listed to play for the MJM M-Builders under FEU coach Nash Racela.
But Tanduay Light (formerly Boracay Rum) insisted that Belo, who saw action with the squad last season, still has one year left in his two-year contract with the team.

M-Builders said it is a school-based squad, thus it has the rights to Belo and the 10 other FEU players in its lineup.
The league classifies a team as school-based if it fields at least six varsity players from the same school.

Belo is expected to suit up for the M-Builders in its debut versus Cagayan Valley on Thursday.
