Mukesh Mohnani scored 18 of his 27 points to power the Warriors to a 100-97 overtime victory over the Sharks and force a decider for the second finals slot in the 2014 FIBL Canadian Cup at Ynares Sports Arena on Sunday.
With the Warriors down by as many as 16, Mohnani scored 14 of his team’s next 15 points—including 11 straight.
The third-seeded Warriors also outrebounded the defending champion Sharks, 77-48, behind Kishore Mirpuri and Parmdeep Brar, who combined for 35 points and 42 rebounds.
Manoj Chandumal topscored anew for the Sharks with a career-high 45 points.
The playoff will be played Nov. 19, with the winner taking on the top-seeded Gators for the crown.
