Que manages 72, trails new leader Hurley by 5 strokes

KUALA LUMPUR—Asian Tour stalwarts Angelo Que of the Philippines and Prom Meesawat of Thailand endured roller-coaster rounds to stay on the fringe of contention at the $7-million CIMB Classic on Friday. Que and Prom ended the second round tied for 12th place on five-under-par 139 after shooting a 72 and 71, respectively, to trail new leader Billy Hurley III by five shots at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club. Antonio Lascuña, the only other Filipino in the field, matched his opening 72 for 144 and easily made the cut at 153. Que, who wore a fluorescent lemon shirt, turned in 39 before clawing back with five birdies.  Asian Tour News
