PH men’s softball team holds tryouts
THE AMATEUR Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPhil) seeks to fortify the roster of the national men’s softball team by holding open tryouts starting Nov. 4 at Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila.
ASAPhil president Jean Henri Lhuillier said the tryout sessions are part of the team’s preparation for the Asian Men’s Softball Championships set in Singapore in December and the Southeast Asian Games in June 2015.
“This is a great opportunity to banner the country’s colors and show the world that the Filipinos are a force to reckon with in softball, ” said Lhuillier.
The tryouts will run until Nov. 15, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
